Piano Lesson Options

We are currently unable to accept new PIANO students at this time. If you sign-up you will added to our waiting list and you will be contacted you when an opening is available.

Lesson Lengths

30 Minute Lesson

For beginners, younger students and busy adults a 30 minute lesson is best.  As a beginning student or busy adult there is a lot to understand; the theory of reading music is complicated and sometimes overwhelming.  In 30 minutes we can make our way through practiced material, cover our music theory concept, and break down any new pieces for the following week.

 45 Minute Lesson

For more advanced and serious students a 45 minute (or longer) lesson is best.  As the student develops their piano skills the pieces will get longer and require more attention and explanation.  In 45 minutes, we can make our way through practiced material and work on any sections that need attention.  We will also cover our music theory concept and break down any new pieces for the following week.

I Travel to You

I will come to your home and give lessons to your students on your piano or keyboard; your student will enjoy this as it is the piano they are comfortable and familiar playing.  I am current offering in-home lessons in Cranberry, Mars, Zelienople, and Evans City.

 
You Travel to Me

You can come to me and receive lessons at Dutilh United Methodist Church, located in Cranberry TWP. near Passavant Hospital.  Lesson are given in the Sanctuary on the church's Baldwin baby grand piano.  This gives many students exposure to what an acoustic piano feels like and gives them to opportunity to play on a baby grand.

Are you not sure if you are ready to start lessons, visit our  Introduction to Piano  course to learn the basics of reading music, playing with each hand, and eventually playing songs with both hands at the same time.
